Lodging Options

If you come to town and want to fly as a Guest, the following hotels are available close by the field. They are listed in order of distance:

Red Rock Hotel and Casino - 702-797-7777 - 11011 West Charleston (this hotel is less than 3 miles from the field)

Holiday Inn Express - 702-256-3766 - 8669 West Sahara Ave

Element Hotel - 702-589-2000 - 10555 Discovery Drive

Hampton Inn - 702-227-3305 - 4280 South Grand Canyon Drive

Primitive Camping: While we cannot allow overnight camping at the LVSC field, two miles up the road is the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area
Campground. This campground features 71 developed campsites and five group sites. Most campsites include a picnic table and grill with water and toilets
nearby. No hookups are available. The fee is $10 per night with a limit of 10 people and two vehicles per site.

Since this is Las Vegas there are quite a few lodging options beyond those listed here. The Red Rock Hotel and Casino is the only one listed on this page that
is a full service hotel and casino. The other options are non-gaming. The LVSC site is approximately 25 minutes from "The Strip" and 20 minutes from "Old
Town" Las Vegas. We are 40+ minutes from Sam's Town and Boulder Station.

The closest hobby shop is 20+ minutes from the field. We have Hobbytown USA, Hobby People and Nice Twice Hobbies here in Las Vegas.

Close to the field (in case you are interested) is an Albertsons, Best Buy, Costco, Office Depot and numerous restaurants and shops. The closest mall is
Meadows Mall, approximately 15 minutes away.
