Demo Pilots - 2008

Seems like it was "out with the old and in with the new!" at SuperFly VII

Our demo pilots who have been around a few years either flaked or crashed, but the young talent really came through for us! SuperFly would like to thank Ben and Devin for really coming through with awesome, crowd pleasing helicopter demos!

And special thanks to the young pilots from DW Foamies! Watching 5 foamies in the air was pretty amazing!

Dr. DTL's designs showed off an amazing new powered sailplane!

The XPS team once again showed some amazing flight skills!

And the team from ThunderPower really showed off what a good battery can do for a good R/C model!

We would like to thank you all for wowing the crowds at SuperFly VII!

Danny Szabo

After being a part of SuperFly for a few years, Danny decided at the last minute he was not willing to fly for us as a demo pilot even though two of his sponsors - ThunderPower RC and Align - were sponsors.

No explanation was given except "I just finished building this heli and dont want to run the risk of crashing it". I guess he only has one helicopter to fly.

Next year, Danny will not be invited to be part of our show so come and see the up and coming pilots Ben Storick and Devin Leblanc next year instead!

At least they are interested in being good reps for their sponsors and showing off their sponsors gear!
